I'm one Bob, I say feed the children. Yes, inflation has been a shock, in particular for food, which children need critically. And if you actually read the article, you'd know those payments are a trivial amount.
They on Social Security are the only group in the county who has a cost of living adjustment. I know that’s not enough for many but it’s far more than poor children get.
If we’re discussing sharing, children would come first - according to the congressional research service, children had a poverty rate of 14.4% (and it’s gone up since then), compared to 8.9% among seniors, the lowest of any age group.
