I’m really sorry to hear about your diagnosis Claudia. My mother had breast cancer and I know it’s awful. Sending you my very best wishes from afar.

Claudia,

There's something about a Substack relationship that creates a level of closeness between reader and writer so as I wish you the best with regard to your treatment, it's a sentiment I feel deeply.

Hi Claudia, I am a normal, non-economist but economically curious person. I started reading your substack thanks to Paul Krugman’s references to your work. I love your clear and comprehensible, no BS writing. So thank you for that. Thank you too for including readers like me in the information about your health. I am sending my strongest and most hearty wishes for great outcomes.

I wish all the best. Although I haven't had the pleasure of meeting you, I have seen many of your interviews and read a lot of you. You seem a very nice and caring person. Hope everything goes well. BTW "Sahmthing else about the SAHM rule" is one of the best titles ever.

Claudia, I’m sorry to hear of your diagnosis and the stress that must bring to you and your family. My daughter-in-law at age 42 was diagnosed with a virulent breast cancer 2 years ago. She went thru chemo and radiation. Tough year. Two years out, she is cancer free and continues to receive excellent care and monitoring. You’ll get on the other side of this. Don’t apologize for needing to take care of you and yours through this period. We’re with you.

Claudia, you must feel scared. I wish you the most success with chemotherapy.

On the note of jobs, it's another reason for the "Jobs Guarantee" program as proposed by Pavlina Tcherneva.

Thank you for the post. And thank you for sharing your personal situation.
